Marina Toeters is a Red Dot Award-winning Fashion Tech Designer working at the intersection of technology and fashion design. Through her studio by-wire.net, she bridges the gap between the fashion industry and tech innovators — pushing towards a fashion system that is both relevant and wearable in everyday life. She advises on product development through prototyping and a research-through-design approach, creating concepts that reimagine what fashion could be.

As a lecturer, coach, and researcher, Marina works with the Fashion department at HKU and the Industrial Design department at TU/e. In 2019, she edited the book Unfolding Fashion Tech: Pioneers of Bright Futures, and recently opened the Fashion Tech Farm — a studio, incubator, and small-scale production facility for innovative fashion, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
